Thank you for your interest in working together!

I know picking a therapist can be stressful, and I hope learning a little more about my style and approach will help you decide if we are a good fit. Comfortability and connection play a critical role in each session, and I believe that genuine connection between therapist and client forms the foundation for effective healing and personal growth.

I use a variety of therapeutic approaches during sessions. All are strength-based, collaborative and research backed, offering practical strategies and focusing on what you need from therapy that week. Some clients want a non-judgmental ear to listen and validate their feelings, while others want to dig deeper, make connections and work towards therapeutic goals. Maybe you want both! My commitment is to create a space where you feel not only understood, but also empowered.

I show up in each of my sessions authentically through warmth, humor, and openness. The relationships with my clients are my top priority. If you are looking for a therapist who is going to challenge you, celebrate you and encourage your growth, we may be a good fit!

4 Things to Know Before We Work Together
01
I don't believe in a one size fits all approach to therapy
Effective therapy acknowledges the unique needs of each person. I tailor sessions to align with your personality, challenges, and goals, drawing from a variety of evidence based practices.
03
However you show up to session is ok with me
Not able to have the conversation we planned in our session? Realize mid-week you will never be someone that enjoys journaling? That's ok! There are going to be weeks when you are ready to tackle life head on, and there are going to be weeks where you just need some care and support. I will be there to help however you show up to session that week. No judgement here.
02
I am always open to ideas, questions and different perspectives
I value your perspective and insight, because you are the expert on you! Ask questions, give feedback and share your ideas. Therapy is a collaborative process, and part of that is feeling comfortable being open and honest with each other.
04
I genuinely care about you and your happiness
I am cheering you on, even when we are not in session. When I know you have something challenging coming up, I can hardly wait to hear how it went (I may even ask you to send me updates). It is a privilege to be able to hold space for you.
You are not just an appointment to me.
